Use TOPICAINE® on normal intact skin for pain relief.  Fast acting anesthetic; best results obtained 20 min to 1 hour post application.

It is a non-oily, translucent gel containing Lidocaine 4% in a microemulsion  with skin permeation enhancers and soothing agents.

Other ingredients are water, ethanol, glycerin, jojoba oil, aloe vera oil, glyceryl monolaureate, benzyl alcohol, carbomer 940 and EDTA.

Indicated for minor skin irritations, minor burns, minor cuts and insect bites.

It is not recommended for use on mucous membranes because of much greater absorption than through intact skin. Do not use on broken or inflamed skin.

TOPICAINE® is not recommended for use beyond the external ear.

How to use: Apply a moderately thick layer to the affected area (approximately 1/8 inch thick). Allow time for numbness to develop. Best results obtained 20 min to 1 hour post-application. Wipe excess gel.
